कार्यासनाबाबत
Urban Bank Branch (Bank) deals with Urban Co-op Banks, in Maharashtra. It monitors all the such Co-op banks on its performance and plays an vital role in policy formulation.
कार्यासनाचे कामकाज
- Amendments of By-Laws wherein the Bank sends the proposal for amendment, the Registrar scrutinizes the same and has to decide within 2 months
- Remove member/members of the Board of Directors of the Bank on receipt of complaints against them after appropriate scrutiny.
- Conducts inquiry under Section 83 of the MCS Act for concerns like Fraud, Serious Irregularities in the Bank. Accordingly the appointment of Inquiry Officer is done. After Inquiry, the Officer submits the report to the Registrar who then scrutinizes the same and takes appropriate action.
- Further, appropriate action is taken u/s 88 of the MCS Act where Responsibility of losses is fixed upon the members of Board of Directors and Officers of the Bank.
- Also issues Certificate to recover loss incurred by the Directors responsible for the loss under Section 98 of the MCS Act.
- As per requisition from RBI, wound up under Section 110 [A](ii) and Section 102.
- As per requisition from RBI, BoD of the bank is superseded and administrator is appointed under Section 110 [A](iii)
- Master Data of individual UCBs are maintained in particular format.
- Field Officers of the Cooperation Department are instructed through circulars and letters, on issues related to the Urban Co-operative Banks.
