Dt.6/1/2009 to 30/6/2010

Objectives of Scheme
To give benefit of the scheme to the farmers who could not get benefit under the Debt Waiver & Debt Relief Scheme, 2008 announced by Government of India and to the farmers who have repaid their regular and overdue loans. 

Scope of the Scheme
The scope will include agricultural loans disbursed by commercial banks, regional rural banks, cooperative credit institutions (DCCB, URB, LDB) and loans disbursed direct/through cooperative societies except urban and non-agricultural rural cooperative credit societies to the :
  • excluded overdue farmers
  • excluded regular farmers who have repaid their loans in time and
  • excluded overdue farmers who repaid their loans
